I totally enjoyed this little vignette from a master writer. Makes you think also. I understand that royalties for using cgi likenesses of deceased actors go to their respective estates, but still...what if a cgi figure thru artificial intelligence took a stand? )
Reminiscent of evergreen sf shorts from Omni or Twilight Zone Magazine, this has a nifty "what if" and concludes with an existential emotional punch. Good, quick fun!

A fun little read where an AI dressed like John Wayne faces off with a Hollywood producer. It kept me reading and the ending was fun. It does make you wonder about the future of CG actors!
A fun story with an unexpected twist at the end. Two things make this story the attitudes of the characters and the basis of the story, CGI actors and AI. In short, entertaining and thought provoking. There is truth here.

You haven't...earned it yet." Dialogue alone was nearly enough to bring back John Wayne for me in this clever short story about using the imagery of dead movie actors in modern day films. To think that said deceased stars could then develop an attitude separate than what might be planned by the movie honchos in charge made for a fun romp. Very good book and I did enjoy!
